We strive to provide a reliable and efficient platform connecting clients with skilled Cleaners. To promote transparency and accurate task booking on the JaniJobs platform, we have the following policy concerning the Cleaner hourly rates and minimum hours.
This policy applies to all Cleaners. Please note that the requirements and examples below are not exhaustive and are subject to change.
Cleaners are independent contractors who choose the categories in which they operate, and in most categories, set their own hourly rates. All hourly-rate cleanings have a one-hour minimum charge. The JaniJobs platform enables cleanings that go beyond one hour to be invoiced in 15-minute increments.
The JaniJobs platform also enables Cleaners to set a 2-hour minimum for hourly-rate cleanings. When a Cleaner has opted for a 2-hour minimum, it will be shown in the app and Cleaners must include this in their category description and note it in their chats with clients to ensure clients are aware.
A small number of categories contain fixed-price cleanings, where a minimum number of hours does not apply and will not impact pricing. Such cleanings are identified in the task invitation; by accepting, Cleaners acknowledge that payout will be based on completion, and not hours worked. Cleaners may not attempt to charge clients a different amount for fixed-price cleanings. See the JaniJobs Invoicing Policy for more information.
This policy is intended to clarify expectations set forth in JaniJobs's Global Terms of Service. Please note that Terms of Service violations can result in account limitations, including account suspension and/or deactivation.
JaniJobs reserves the right to modify or update this policy at any time.
