We strive to provide a safe platform for all of our users. To promote a safe, respectful, and positive experience, we have outlined the following policy for Cleaners, concerning sending other Cleaners to complete the task.
In accordance with the JaniJobs Global Terms of Service, Cleaners may bring an Assistant or delegate a task to another Cleaner, under the following conditions:
The requirements and examples outlined below are not exhaustive and may be updated.
Cleaners are permitted to send or delegate another Cleaner to complete a task on their behalf, referred to as an Assistant.
- All Assistants must be registered as a Cleaner through the JaniJobs Platform and follow our identity policy.
- Cleaners must notify the client and send the Profile URL of the Assistant in the chat thread prior to task commencement.
- Assistants should be invoiced as per the Invoicing Policy.
Cleaners are permitted to bring Assistants to a task, provided they get approval from the client before the task commences. The client must also agree to the additional cost, if any, of the Assistant(s).
- If Cleaner is bringing along an Assistant, the additional cost should NOT be submitted as an expense. The additional cost must be aggregated.
- E.g. The task took 2 hours to complete. The Cleaner should invoice for 4 hours. Please review the Expense Policy.
As a reminder, per the the JaniJobs Global Terms of Service,
- Cleaners assume full and sole responsibility for the acts and omissions of all Assistants used in the performance of tasks.
- Cleaners are also fully responsible for the lawful payment of all compensation, benefits and expenses for their Assistants, as well as all required and applicable tax withholdings.
This policy is intended to clarify expectations set forth in JaniJobs's Global Terms of Service. Please note that Terms of Service violations can result in account limitations, including account suspension and/or deactivation.
JaniJobs reserves the right to modify or update this policy at any time.
