Review the candidates who have applied for your job. You can review and hire candidates from the website or from the mobile app. While the steps are the same, the images below depict this process on the web.
New Candidate Notifications
When a candidate applies to your job post, you will get notifications from JaniJobs.

- and in your email
Reviewing Candidates
- To review candidates who have applied for your jobs, go to the Jobs page
- Select the job you want to review
(You can also get to this page by clicking on the in-app notification above) - To see a list of candidates who have applied, select Total (Excluding Rejected)
(You can also get to this page by selecting Candidates from the left side menu) - Click on a candidate to review their details and open their candidate profile
- Use the Shortlist, Awaiting Reviews, or Rejected buttons on the right for quick actions, or change the status in the Hiring Status dropdown to something else.
Enter any optional notes in the Notes field if needed
Hiring Candidates
- To hire a candidate, use the Hiring Status dropdown and select Hired
- Enter the Joining Date, Employment Type, and Pay Rate, and click Next
Then, assign Locations to your contractor. Contractors can only be assigned Work Orders for Locations they are assigned to. This can be completed now or at a later time. Click Next to proceed
Next you can assign Job Types. Cleaners can only be assigned Work Orders for Job Types they are assigned. Select Finish
- The candidate will now appear in the Hired list
and in your list of Contractors on the Contractors page
